Our bee colonies stand on the flowering meadows around Taisten, at a good 1,200 m – and in summer at higher altitudes, where the Alpine rose blooms. Small harvests, short distances: from the hive straight into the jar, and from our house straight to you.

At the Euregio honey evaluation 2025, our honey was awarded the gold diploma. We also had it analysed by an independent laboratory – the full results are publicly available.
From dandelion to Alpine rose
At the end of April, dandelions turn the valley meadows golden yellow – in places several hundred flowers stand on a single square metre. Once that bloom is over, some of our colonies move up to altitudes above 1,500 m: there, from mid-June to mid-July, the Alpine rose (alpenrose) blooms. Its honey is among the rarest varietal honeys of the Alps – the bloom is short, the sites are high, the harvests small. That is exactly what makes it so special.
